In an effort to increase interest in the Heavy Equipment and Diesel Engine Repair as a career, the KCAED has developed a scholarship for students with an interest in pursuing a post-secondary education in either of these fields. The KCAED awards up to four annual scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each ($500 per semester) to up to four full-time students. Both men and women, attending a vocationa/technical school, and pursing a certificate or associates degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Repair are eligible to apply. Applicant should be enrolling as a full time student, for the fall semester, be in one of the two fields, and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
