Wendy’s High School Heisman

Every year, the Wendy’s High School Heisman Program and The Heisman Memorial Trophy team up to recognize our nation’s most esteemed high school Seniors. The culmination of this process takes place in December in conjunction with the National Heisman Memorial Trophy presentation during Heisman Weekend in New York City. It’s here where Wendy’s selects its National High School Heisman Winners during a broadcast on ESPN networks. This partnership ensures that high school winners enjoy the prestige of national recognition for their tremendous achievements.

To achieve award eligibility for the 2012 Wendy’s High School Heisman Program, students must be seniors during the 2012/2013 academic years, graduating with the class of 2013. Applicants must:

Learn:
Have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of a B (3.0) or better.

Perform:
Participate in at least one of 27 eligible school-sponsored sports listed at the website.

Lead:
Be a leader in school and in the community and serve as a role model for underclassmen.

Every senior who applies for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Program receives:

  • A 2012 Wendy’s High School Heisman Program Official Certificate recognizing participation in the Heisman Trophy award program and the applicant’s proven ability to learn, perform, and lead.
